According to Richardson's Magna Carta Ancestry, p. 549, Margaret was the wife of Richard de Rivers, Elas was the wife of Ralph de Neville, and Isabela was the wife of Hugh de Plescy. Alice Basset was 3rd daughter and coheir of Thomas Basset, of Hedington, Oxon (d. 1220), by Philippe, eldest daughter and coheir of William Malbank, lord of Wich Malbank, Cheshire. His 1st marriage brought him the manor of Headingto and property in Wich Malbank.
