Hugh de Plessis married, 1stly, as a child, before Oct 1249, Isabel, 3rd and youngest daughter and coheir of John Biset (died 1241), by Alice Basset. Alice Basset was 3rd daughter and coheir of Thomas Basset, of Hedington, Oxon (d. 1220), by Philippe, eldest daughter and coheir of William Malbank, lord of Wich Malbank, Cheshire. His 1st marriage brought him the manor of Headington and property in Wich Malbank.
