Diego Márquez made his last will at Santa Cruz in 1729, in which he named his wife, Juana Martín Serrano, and their three children: María Estela, wife of Domingo Montes Vigil; Diego, eighteen and single; and Francisca, wife of Pablo Trujillo. Their son, Diego II, married Gertrudis Esquivel in Santa Fe, 25 Aug 1730.
