Diego Márquez made his last will at Santa Cruz in 1729, in which he named his wife, Juana Martín Serrano, and their three children: María Estela, wife of Domingo Montes Vigil; Diego, eighteen and single; and Francisca, wife of Pablo Trujillo. Their son, Diego II, married Gertrudis Esquivel in Santa Fe, 25 Aug 1730.

Diego Márquez made his will, signed on 10 Mar 1729 due to being sick from an accident.
