Francisco Luján was an Alférez in 1641 and thirty years old. As early as 1641, he married Lucía Rodríguez, aged twenty. He was involved in the Rosasmurder affair, and along with his brother Juan, they escaped the execution. His area of activity was the Queres territory of Santo Domingo and Cochití. He died sometime before 1663.

His second wife was María Ramos, the daughter of his sister, Maria Luján. Enemies of the friars later accused them of granting Francisco a dispensation to marry his blood-niece. Mariana, wife of Juan Ramos, was not necessarily his blood-sister, but the child of María, an unmarried Indian servant of Juan López.

Francisco married María Ramos, daughter of Juan de Perramos and Maríana Luján. (María Ramos was born about 1630.)
