Joan Hussey and Sir Thomas Hungerford were the parents of Sir Walter Hungerford, born about 1378, died 9 Aug 1449, 1st Lord Hungerford, Speaker of the House of Parliament, Sheriff of Somerset and Dorset, Constable of Windsor Castle, Steward to the Household of Henry V and Henry VI, and Lord High Treasure. Sir Walter Hungerford married Catherine Perverll, daughter of Thomas Peverell and Margaret Courtenay.
