Sir Nicholas Lord Carew, d. 1311, Lord of Carew Moulesford & Odrone, married Amicia, daughter of Hugh and sister and heir of Sir John Peverell of Erminton, had manor of Weston Peverell from brother as wife of Nicholas Carew, were the parents of John Carew, Lord of Carew and Moulesford, ob. 1324, married Joan, da. of Sir Gilbert Talbot.

• Background Information. 1209 Sir Nicolas & Amicia Tuit had issue of Sir Nicholas Baron of Carru & Mullesford. This Nicholas was summoned by writ in King Edward I time. He married Amicia, sister of Sir John Peverell of Ermyngton, by whom he had Weston Peverell as aforesaid, and some times dwelled in this shire at his pleasure. This Sir Nicholas had issue Sir John, Thomas, Nicholas and William.
