• Background Information. 713 Urian de Egerton was the second son of Philip de Egerton and his wife Margaret Wrenbury. He was lord of Caldecote in the right of his wife, Amelia, the daughter and heir of David de Caldecote. They were the ancestors of the Egertons of Betley, and also of those of Wrinehill.

Philip de Egerton, living 20-21 Edward III, married to Margery, daughter of William, son of Hugh de Chidlowe of Chedleston. Died with out male heir.
