William de Stanley Lord of Thalk

There is a William de Stanley who appeared as one of the fifteen witnesses to a charter given by Ranulf de blunderville, Earl of Chester, sometime between 1210 to 1217. This took place at Macclesfield. His children were Sir Walter and John.
