Robert Tuchet, son and heir, probably born Christmas 1264, was given seisin of his father's lands on 13 June 1315. He was summoned against the Scots in 1316 and 1322; was appointed, 4 July 1323, Keeper of the sokeand castle of Melbourne, co. Derby; and in March 1324 was Keeper of forfeited lands in the same co. On 9 May 1324 he was summoned to a Great Council, which was to meet at Westminster on 30 May in the same year. He married, 1st, Agnes; and 2nd, Joan. He died probably before December 1341. Joan survived him.
