The children of don Lope, brother of don Gutierre "el de los tucos" became a powerful and prestigious house of the sturian nobiity. The house of Miranda, with it's origin from the illegitimate son of don Lope, Martí Vazquez de Quirós, married Ynes de Miranda and recived the lordship of Valecarazana.
Martín married Ynez de Miranda y Ponce de León, daughter of Diego Fernández de Miranda and Beatriz Ponce de León.
