• Background Information: 927 Turchetil, the second son of Torf and Ertemberga de Bricquebec, was Lord of Turquevile, Turqueray, and joint guardian and governor, with his other brother, Tourounde, to William Duke of Normandy. He married Adeline de Montfort, sister of Toustain, Lord of Montfort-sur-Risle. With Adeline, he had a son and heir, Anchitel. Their other children were, Walter de Turqueville and Lesseline, the wife of William Earl of Eu, Exames and Montreuil.
