• Background Information: 1616 Records in Maldonn, Essex, England of St. Perter's Church shows that Nicholas More was living in that parish when his son, Enoch was baptized 29 Jan 1560/61. By 17 Sep 1570, Nicolas the elder was living in the parish of All Saints when his son Nicolas Jr. (brother of Enoch) was baptized.
Nicolas left a will written by his son Samuel, 18 Aug 1590, and proved in Chelmsford by Samual on 22 Oct 1594. Witnesses were his sons Nicolas the Younger and Enoch. He mentions his wife, Willamin and his son Thomas Moore in his will.
