Thomas Scott was baptized at Rattlesden, Suffolk 26 Feb 1594/5 & was the son of Henry Scott. He died between 8 Mar 1653/4, when he made his will and 17 Mar 1653/4 when his will was inventoried. He married Elizabeth Strutt, daughter of Christopher Strutt at Rattlesden on 16 May 1594. Thomas's sister was Ursula Scott Kimball wife of Richard Kimball.
Thomas Scott and his family traveled to New England in 1634 on the Elizabeth. The Record of their passage on the Elizabeth on 39 Apr 1634 read "Thomas Skott, aged 49, Elizabeth his wife, age 40, Martha Scott age 60, Elizabeth Scott, aged 9, Abigail Scott, aged 7 and Thomas Scott, aged 6." Martha Scott was Thomas's widowed mother. His inventory on board included "3 books" valued at 12s. 2d.
