Noted events in her life were:
• Background Information. 733 In the year ending Michaelmas 1198, Hawise de Dinan was fined 80 merks that she might not be obliged to remarry. [Rot, Pipe, 10 Ric. I, 'Wilts'] Now a widow, she renewed her claim upon Stanton son after the accession of King John. In 1201, the Berkshire Pipe Roll, gives Sibil (her sister), widow of Hugh de Plugenai, and Hawise, mother of Fulk fitz Warine, as coparcerners in Lamburn. In 1204, Hawise de Dinan and her sister Sibil are apparently cliaming, against Olver de Dinana, estates in Bokeland and Corfton in Somersetshire and at Hertilande in Devonshire. [Rot. Finium, p.221]
