• Background Information. 252 Louís Martín Serrano the Second, husband of Antonia de Miranda, gave his age as 50 in 1681 and 60 in 1689 [DM, 1681, no. 6; 1689, no. 5]. Some children by this wife were Antonio, Hernando, Francisco, Cristóbal, and María, who were suing the children by a second wife in 1711 at Santa Cruz. Another daughter was Antonia, who had married Juan Roque Gutiérrez on Feb. 18, 1692 [DM, 1690, no. 4]. María, widowed of Antonio Luján, married Domingo de Herrera in 1683 [DM, 1683, no. 1].
