"Nicholas sonne of Raph by Matilda la Ram his wife had issue John, and died in the sixth of Edward the second, Anno. 1312 In like manner betweene this Nicholas son of Raph, And after between this John sonne of Nicholas, arose other futes about the same service of said Manors of Hull and Nymesfeild with the lord Thomas sonne of the said Maurice, and with other lords after him, As in the life of said Lord Maurice under the saide title of lawe suites, is declared."
