Sebastiana de Mondragón returned with the reconquest to claim property in Santa Fe owned by her father, Juan de Mondragón prior to the pueople revolt. Her grand daughter was Tomasa Martín Serrano, wife of Bernardino de Sena, who she called her son-in-law. Hence, her daughter, the mother of Tomasa, was Jusefa de la Asención Gonzáles.

Sebastiana died on November 25, 1728, a widow of eighty-eight years of age.
