Vol. 5 of "Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages in America" (Counts of Angouleme) shows him as the father of Armand Manzer, as shown here.
The "Dictionary of Royal Lineage", however, states that William I died without progeny and gives no parents for Armand Manzer. The LDS AF agrees with "Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages in America". ¹¹⁶
