  General Notes:

-Vol. 5 of "Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages in America" (Counts of Angouleme) shows him as the son of William Taillefer I, as shown here.
-The "Dictionary of Royal Lineage", however, states that William I died without progeny and gives no parents for Armand Manzer. The LDS AF agrees with "Colonial and Revolutionary Lineages in America". ¹¹⁶

Armand married Hildegarde de Angoulême. (Hildegarde de Angoulême was born about 926 in Angoulême, Charente, France and died on 4 Mar 992-1001 in St. Cybar , France.)
