During the El Paso census of 1692,Geronima was called a widowed sister of Antonio Lucero. She could be either the daughter of Lucía Romero or Juana Carvajal, but the name Gerónima suggests she was the grand daughter of Gerónimo Carbajal. ¹⁵⁸⁰
