William Mobberley, son and heir of the first William Mobberley, married Maud, daughter and heir of Robert Downes of Chorley, and Edmund Fitton gave all his lands in Chorley in free marriage with Margery Fitton his sister. Willaim was the sheriff of Chesire in 13 Edward II (1319). He died 1 Edward III (1327).
