• Background Information. 141 David of Scotland married, 26 August 1190, Maud, sister and coheir of Ranulph, 4th Earl of Chester, eldest daughter of Hugh, of Kevelioc, Earl of Chester, by Bertrade, daughter of Simon, comté d'Evreux. David died 17 June 1219, at Yardley, Northants, and was buried in Sawtrey Abbey. His widow died about 6 January 1233.
