William Bonville, of Chewton, Somerset, son and heir of John Bonville by Elizabeth, daughter and heir of John Fitz Roger of Chewton. William succeeded his grandfather, Sir William Bonville, of Shute, 14 Feb 1408. Sir William had married Alice and survived his son John Bonville.
