Sir Piers Fitz Reynold of Chewton Somerset. the younger son of Reynold Fitz Piers and Joan Vivonne, was aged 40 in 1314. He married, as his first wife, Ela Martel, elder daughter and co-heiress of Roger Martel, Knight of Hinton Martel, by his wife Joan. They had one son, Roger Martel.
