Thomas Carminowe, heir to his nephew John, and aged 45 in 8 Hen. V, was Sheriff of Cornwall in 1423 and 1529. Thomas died on the Wednesday before Christmas Day 1442, his Inq. p.m. on Hen VI, No. 46. Thomas married Jane, daughter of Robert Hill and they were the parents of Johanna, wife of Thomas Carew and Margaret wife of Hugh Courtney.
