"There can scarcely be any doubt that Richard Donne the elder was the heir of Henry Donne, the husband of Joan de Kingeslegh; and it might be further conjectured that Mabel, his wife was a daughter and heir of Ranulph de Kyngeslegh and Mabel de Moston. This Mabel de Donn appears on subsequent occasions in litigation with the Lady Amice de Thorneton and other, touching lands in Kingsley."
