They had been married there on February 9, 1728, with Antonio de Beytia and wife as sponsors. Baltasar was twenty-five in 1732. In 1741 he was a widower and serving as a soldier at the Albuquerque garrison when he married Antonia Durán y Chaves, on March 20.
