Sir William Molyneux, Knight, of Sefton, was made bannoret in Gascony in 1286, by Edmund Couchback, Earl of Lancaster, 2nd son of Henry III. Sir William marred Isabella Scarisbrick of Scarisbrick who died in 1289.

Sir William Molyneux, eldest son of Sir Richard, was dubbed Knight Banneret in Gascoigny, by Edmond surnamed Crookeback, Earl of Lancaster, second son to Henry III, 14 Edward I. He married Isabel, daughter of Scarisbrick and had issue of a son, Richard, and a daughter, Jane, who maried Robert de Erneys.

Sir William was the son of Sir Richard Moylneux. He was created Knight Banneret in 1286. He died in 1289, leaving by his wife Isabel, daughter of _____ Scarebrecke of Scaresbrecke, a son, Sir Richard Molyneux, Knight, who married Agatha, daughter and heir of Sir Roger Kyrton.

William married Isabella Scarisbrick, daughter of Henry de Scaresbrick and Unknown ^716,717.^,751 (Isabella Scarisbrick was born in Lancashire, England and died in 1289 in Lancashire, England.)
