~Cokayne's Complete Peerage, 2nd Edition, (Tuchet), Vol. XIIB, p. 54. son & heir, of his father by the same name, Henry Tuchet was, 1143-1149, confirmed in the possession of all his lands by the Earl of Chester. Before 1156, he granted a vigate of land in Ashwell to the Abbey of St. Mary de Pré, Leicester, and in 1166, he was fined 4£ in Derby. He was also a benefactor of Darley Abbey. He married Maude, and probably died in 1178, with Maud surviving him. 141
