By Force of Arms, Kessell, Hendricks, p. 249 Herencia, October 1995 Origins of New Mexico Families, says that Juan García and his wife Francisca Sánchez did not return to New Mexico, but at least his wife did and in the Bernalillo Baptisms for 1703, they are named as parents of Juana García.
