• Background Information. 250 Richard Salazar found the testamento, or will, of Juliana Rael de Aguilar in Notarias, Protocolo [no. 593, fol. 105r - 106v]. In this document dated 24 April 1703 she names her parents as Juan Rael de Aguilar and Ana Soler y Riguelme. Her husband, Juan de Osca de Alzamora, was deceased by this time. Interestingly, she stated that her son, "Don Alphonso de Osca Rael de Aguilar," was a resident of Parral de Indias.
