• Background Information. 713 Sir Patrick de Haselewell, knight, lord of Heselewelle, was Sheriff of Cheshire, 5 Edward I (1277). He was knighted before 26 Edward I. He presented to the church of Haselwall, about 1300. His Ob was in or after 1 Edward II. Sir Patrick married Agnes, daughter and heir of Peter de Thurstanston. Their children were:

• Background Information. 919 In 1276 William de Molyneux, Roger de Molyneux, Patrick de Haselwall and Nichola his daughter, Alan le Norreys and Margery his wife, with Henry son of Cecily, were charged by Thurstan de Holand with depriving him of 100 acres of his land in Hale. It was found that only 20 acres were within his boundaries, and these he recovered. [Assize R. 405, m. 1d].
