He married, as his first wife, Elizabeth Comstock, born 9 Jun 1665, the daughter of John Comstock of Lyme, Connecticut. Elizabeth died 3 May 1692. Joseph married, as his second wife, Susanna Keeney on 30 Aug 1706. Susanna Kenney was the daughter of John Keeney and his first wife Sarah Douglas. Susanna was born 6 Sep 1662 & died 13 Dec 1748. For his third wife, Joesph married widow Mary Busnell on 2 Oct 1750. Mary died 30 Oct 1752 and Joseph died 26 Apr 1752.
