William married, as his second wife, Margaret daughter of William Stanley he had daughters named Joan and Margaret. Joan married as her first husband, Sir Ralph Langton, knight, and as her second husband, Sir John Pilkington, knight. Isabel married Robert Harrington of Hornby. After Sir Ralph Langton died, Margaret married a second time to Robert Singleton.
