Boleslav of Bohemia was the son of Vratislave I, Duke of the Bohemians and his wife Drahomira ze Stodor. Boleslav succeeded in 935 as the Duke of Bohemia by murdering his elder brother in 935. He married Biagota, of unknown parentage.
The Chronica Boemorum names "Ztrahquaz" as wife of Boleslav [Cosmæ Pragensis Chronic a Boemorum I.17, MGH SS IX, p. 46].
The Cronica Principum Regni Boemiæ records the death in 967 of "Boleslaus Sacuus filius Wratislai" [Cronica Principum Regni Boemiæ, Scriptores Rerum Bohemicarum, Tomus II, p. 428].
