Juan García

  General Notes:

Juan García was married three times. His first wife was Tomasa de la Trinidad López, with whom he had no children. Juan's second wife was Sabina Armijo, and with Sabina, they had two daughters Epiphania García and Anastacia Garciá. His third wife was Cruz Sánches, and they had a child Francisquita Garciá.

~Information given to me from my cousin, Tom Armijo, Tom figured out that Trinidad (1st wife) is my great grandfather's niece. Sabina Armijo (2nd wife) is the great granddaughter of one of our shared ancestors, Salvador Armijo, as well as being the second wife of Jaun García. We also found a connection with Juan's third wife. Cruz Sánches who is the step sister of my great grandmother María Sanches, and both daughters of my GG Grandfather Victoriano Sánches. Victoriano Sanches's daughter, Cruz Sánchez, is Tom's Great Grandmother. There are other connections we share. I once wondered how my father, no matter where we were in New Mexio, could always find a cousin. After my research and discussions with Tom, I wonder no more. ⁵¹⁵

Juan next married Sabina Armijo, daughter of Reyes Armijo and Miguela Jaramillo. (Sabina Armijo was born in 1844.)

Juan next married Cruz Sánchez, daughter of Placido Sánchez and Josefa Herrera, on 6 Feb 1883 in Our Lady of Sorrows de La Joya, La Joya Socorro, New México Territory.⁸ (Cruz Sánchez was born in 1866.)
