Sir Robert de Welles, Knight, married Maud, second and youngest daughter of Thomas de Clare, the second son of Richard, Earl of Cloucester and Hertford, and his wife Julian, the daughter of Sir Fitz Marice, Lord Justice of Ireland. Maud died between Mar 1326/7 and 24 May 1327, the last date being the date of the writ for her Inquisition Post Mortem.
