• Background Information. 160 Walram, Duke of Limbourg, died in 1226 and was the son of Heinrich, Duke of Limbourg (d. 1221 and whose sister, Margaret of Limbourg married Godfrey III, Cout of Lovaine), married as his second wife Ermesinde of Luxembourg, born 1186 and died 1247, the widow of Theobald I, Count of Bar, daughter of Heinrich "the blind," count of Luxembourg and Namur, by Agnes, dauther of Henry I, Count of Geldern.
