Alcher's descentant, very possibly his son, was Robert Fitz Aer. Robert was the founder of the Church of Aston, about 1138. In 1165, the whole tenure of Robert Fitz Aer, under the Barony of Fitz Alan, involves the full service of 1 knight and 1 muntator, and the latter service in addition. Robert Fitz Aer, Senior, died within ten years of this period, and was followed by his son and heir of the same name
