Aznar Sánchez de Larraún is named as the son of Sancho García in the Codex de Roda. The Codex de Roda names his wife and children Sancho, Toda and Sancha, as her second husband, his first cousin, Oneca Íñiga Fortún de Pamplona, repudiated wife of ABD ALLAH (later Abd Allah I Emir of Córdoba). Oneca was the daughter of Fortún García King of Pamplona & his wife Aurea. She is named as the wife of Aznar Sánchez in the Codex de Roda.

Azanar married Oneca Fortunez de Navarra, daughter of Fortún García "el Monje", rey de Navarra and Aria López ibn Musa Banu Qasi, about 880. (Oneca Fortunez de Navarra was born in 850 in Pampelona, Navarre, Iberia ⁴⁸⁸.)
