Sir John d'Oyly according to the d'Oyly Pedigree given in the Topographer and Genealogist, Vol. I, p. 370, this Sir John d'Oyly could be either the son of John, son of Robert d'Oyly or Wakelin d'Oyly son of Gilbert d'Oyly (who is the brother of Robert d'Oyly). The mother of this Sir John d'Oyly is given as Agnes ?, daughter of Sir John de Grey, of Rotherfield, Oxon, sister of Walter, Archbishop of York.
