She is named and her parentage given by Orderic Vitalis, who lists her fourth among her father's daughters by his first marriage and also names her first husband. She married, first, Robert FitzHamon, Lord of Glamorgan, and married, second, Jean Sire de Raimes.
Sybil married Robert Fitz Hamon, son of Hamon Fitz Hamon Dapifer and Sheriff of Kent and Unknown. (Robert Fitz Hamon was born before 1045 in Corbeil, France and died in 1106-1107 in the siege of Falaise, France.)
