• Background Information. 726 Richard Fitz Eustace inherited all the honors of his mother and became the fifth Baron of Halton and Constable of Chester. He married Albreda, daughter and heiress of Robert de Lizours and Abreda de Lace, sister and heiress of Ibert de Laci, Baron of Pontefract, son of Robert de Laci, to whom King William Rufus confirmed the lands held by Ilbert his father and to whom the King had given the Castle and Town of Pontefract in Yorkshire. Richard Fitz Eustace died in 1178.

• Background Information. 141 Aubry daughter of Robert de Lacy, lord of Pontefract married Robert de Lisours son of Fulk de Lisours, Domesday tenant of Sprotborough and other West Riding manors under Roger de Busli,. The daughter and heir of Aubrey de Lacy and Robert de Lisours was Aubrey de Lisoures, who married Robert Fitz Eustace, by whom she had issue, John the Constable of Chester. Richard married Albreda de Lisoures, daughter of Robert de Lisoures and Aubreda de Lacy. (Albreda de Lisoures was born about 1128 and died after 1194.)
