William Fairbanke was born circa 1455 and died in 1518. In 1492 (8th Henry VII), "William took land of soil and waste of the lard, in Sowerby, to hold according to the customs of the manor."

18 May 1498. 8th Henry VII, "William Fairebank, a tenant, surrendered a close call Wynlufroid in Warley into the hands of the lord. And in 1503 "one Messuage and 22 acres of land to John Turnour."

"1514, 6th Henry VIII, Johannis Haldeworth et Willelmus Fairebank electi sunt ad officium prepositi."
