"Gaufridus vicecomes Castriduni" donated a fair to Châteaudun, with the consent of "Clemencia uxore mea, condam comitissa Blesensi", by charter dated Jul 1229 [ Châteaudun La Madeleine, LXXXVIII, p. 95]. Clemencia was his second wife, Clemence des Roches, widow of Thibaut VI comte de Blois, and daughter of Guillaume des Roches Senesal of Anjou and his wife Marguerite Dame de Sablê (Nevers).

Clémence married Geoffrey Vicomte de Château-du-Loire, son of Geoffrey vicomte de Château-du-Loire and Adelicia de Nevers. (Geoffrey Vicomte de Château-du-Loire died on 6 Feb 1250 and was buried in Roceray.)
