"The Chronicon Mundi of Lucas Tudensis names "Alionoram primogenitam, Constanciam, et Berengariam" as the daughters of Alfonso IX King of León and his second wife [Lucas Tudensis, Liber IV, p. 109]. The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines refers to the wife of "rex Ierusalem Iohannes" as daughter of "Berengaria" and "regi Legionensi id est regi Galicie" and in a later passage records the marriage of "rex Iohannes Ierosolimitanus" and "filia regis Gallicie, sororem Fernandi de Castella", but in neither place is she named [Chronica Albrici Monachi Trium Fontium 1212 and 1224, MGH SS XXIII, pp. 895 and 913].
