Gormlaith, daughter of Murchad, King of Leinster, is recorded as dying in 1030 in the Annals of Tienach. In the Annals of Tienach, she is also given as the daughter of Murchad, son of Fland and mother of Sitric son of Olaf and Donnchad son of Brian, king of Munster. The Annals of Masters also record her death in 1030 as "Gormlaith daughter of Murchadh son of Finn, mother of the king of the foreigners Sitric, Donnchads son of Brian King of Munster, and Conchobhar son of Maeleachlainn king of Temhair."
