Capitán Hernan Martín Serrano (III) married, as his second wife, María de Madrid sometime between 1664 & 1675. Three of their know children were:

• Juan Martín Serrano, mestizo, resident of the jurisdiction of las Salinas, New Mexico, in the late 1600s
• José Martín Serrano
• Ynes Martín Serrano.

María married Hernán (el mozo) Martín Serrano, son of Sargento Mayor Hernán Martín Serrano and Ynés. (Hernán (el mozo) Martín Serrano was born between 1606 and 1607 in San Gabriel del Yungue, Nuevo Méjico, Nuevo España ¹⁵⁷⁵ and died after Oct 1685 in Nueva España ¹⁴⁶⁵.)
