• Background Information: 141 Cockney's Complete Peerage, Vol. I (Abitot), 1887, p. 34, Urso sat in the great council of 1082 and 1085 according to Dugdale. Emmeline, his daughter married Walter de Beauchamp, who obtained from Henry I, all the lands of Roger de Worcester and Sheriffalty of Worcestershire to hold as freely as any of his ancestors had done.
• Web Reference: Emmeline Ellis says that "Emmeline Roger's sister was wife of Walter de Beauchamp, who obtained the fief of Urso and the shrievalty of Worcestershire, which Henry I confirmed to him, together wih the office of one of the king's dispensers which Robert brother of Urso had formerly held, and the land given him by Adelisa the widow of Urso"[Ellis 'Landholders of Gloucestershire', p. 184].
Emeline married Walter de Beauchamp, son of Hugh de Beauchamp and Unknown 141.,749 (Walter de Beauchamp was born about 1072 in England and died after 1100 in Elmley Castle, Gloucester, England.)
