• Web Reference: Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Beatrix der Mâcon was the daughter of Aubry II de Mâcon and Ermentrude de Roucy. She married Geoffroy comté de Gâtinais as her first husband and Hugues du Perche as her second husband. "A manuscript genealogy, dated to the early 12th century, records "Letaldus comes Vesoncius et Umbertus comes Marisconensis fratres…ex Letaldo, Albericus…ex Alberico Beatrix, ex Beatrice Gosfrido de Castello Landonensi" [Halphen & Poupardin (1913), Genealogiæ comitum Andegavensium, V, p. 249]. André de Fleury's Vita Gauzlini records that "Albericus comes Nandonensium" donated "Alodum in Altissiodorensi territorio" to Fleury and that "Beatrix Nandonensium comitissa" donated "prædia" [ Vita Gauzlini, Liber I, XXIX (1853), p. 292]. Her second marriage is confirmed by the charter of her son "Albericum illius supradicti Gosfredi filium et heredum" dated 26 May 1028 approved by "fratribus ipsius Alberici, filiis Hugonis Pertice…Gosfredo et Letoldo" [Devaux 'Etude chronologique des comtes de Gâtinais' (1885), pp. 81-2, and Paris Notre-Dame, Tome I, p. 326]."
Béatrix married Hugues du Perche, son of Fulcois Seigneur de Nogent-le-Rotrou and Melisende de Châteaudun Vicomtesse.
